What is YLDA?

Founded in 2025, Young Labor Democratic Accord (YLDA) does Young Labor (YL) a little differently. We sit as the only organised independents within Victoria and more broadly Australia, this allows us to make the informed decision on what factions we wish to vote with at conferences.

This give our values of Leftism, Pluralism and Pragmatism the best chance of being enacted with YL. YLDA operates the Labor Students Victoria Network along with its affiliate program. Spanning across five uni's, the TAFE system, and High Schools through out Victoria we cast a wide net, because we know that when Students, Workers, Unionists, and Activists come together, change comes with them.
